Morden Wharf
Prior to founding New Construct Gavin was the Development and Trading Director at U+I and led this project – a partnership between Morden College and U+I.
The planning situation was particularly complicated as there was a chemical exclusion zone covering 90% of the site, a gasometer blast zone and a safeguarded wharf. In addition, c. 70% of the site was designated as Strategic Industrial Land making residential development more difficult.
Working in partnership with Morden College and the Royal Borough of Greenwich we were able to work through the planning and development constraints to prepare a planning application for a residential led mixed-use scheme.
